Cheap Monk is an instrumental hip-hop and electronic artist based and raised in Málaga, Spain.

Just like a rock fan would pick a guitar, he picked a laptop around 2010 and started learning how to make electronic music. At first it was just a hobby, but after years of messing around with FL Studio he started to hone his skills and develop his sound.

Fast forward to 2018, he had been listening to a lot of lofi hip-hop and 90's hip-hop, he decided to change his alias to Cheap Monk and start putting out music more seriously. His biggest influences are Nujabes, Emancipator, Porter Robinson, Flying Lotus and Madlib.
